The Master’s degree program in Digital Energy Solutions aims to prepare students for critical roles in transforming energy systems towards sustainability. This interdisciplinary program combines technical know-how with insights into economics and regulation, equipping graduates to tackle challenges posed by climate change and growing energy demand. Students will explore the integration of digital technologies in energy management, including big data and IoT, fostering a practical understanding of modern energy systems.
The program covers topics such as energy technology, information technology, energy economics, and sustainability management. It emphasizes integrating digital thinking with traditional energy systems to address the challenges posed by climate change and increased energy demands.
The curriculum is organized over four semesters, culminating in a thesis project. Students will engage in internships and collaborative projects that promote hands-on learning and industry interaction.
Graduates gain a robust understanding of both technical and economic aspects of energy systems, equipping them with skills in innovation, regulatory environments, and digital technologies critical for a sustainable energy future.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
