The Bachelor program in Mathematical Technical Software Development encompasses interdisciplinary knowledge in modeling, simulation, optimization, and visualization of complex technical processes, combined with strong software development skills. Students gain competencies in understanding interdisciplinary contexts and applying scientific problem-solving methods.
The program is structured over six semesters and includes foundational courses in mathematics and computer science, followed by practical applications. Students participate in a mix of online learning and in-person sessions, culminating in the completion of required coursework and examinations.
Graduates achieve the ability to conceptualize, implement, and maintain software systems based on mathematical models and methods. They develop essential soft skills, including teamwork and communication.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
