Master of Arts (MA)
The Master of Arts in Gamified Reality Applications offers students an opportunity to engage with emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Gamification. The curriculum includes real-world projects and collaboration with an international network of mentors, preparing graduates for innovative roles in the tech industry. Students will benefit from studying in multiple countries—Austria, the Netherlands, and Latvia—ensuring a rich and diverse educational experience.
Students will explore themes of extended reality, interactive design, and gamification strategies as they relate to various sectors, including health and education. The program emphasizes practical skills and real-world application of technologies.
The program is organized over four semesters, with each semester focusing on different curricular elements. Students will engage in hands-on projects and collaborate on international assignments, culminating in a thesis project relevant to their field of interest.
Graduates will possess advanced skills in XR development and design, interactive media design, and gamification strategies. They will also develop competencies in project management and collaboration across international teams.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
