Master of Science (MSc)
The Master of Science in Environmental Sciences focuses on sustainable environmental management and conservation strategies. The curriculum integrates scientific research, geographical information systems (GIS), and policy studies to prepare students for interdisciplinary careers. Graduates are equipped for roles in government, NGOs, and private sector organizations engaged in environmental consultancy and management.
The curriculum includes advanced courses in environmental policy, research methods, and ecological impact assessment. Students will also focus on specialized topics relevant to their thesis projects and areas of interest.
The Master program consists of four semesters, with a combination of mandatory and elective courses. Students are required to complete a thesis project that contributes original knowledge to the field of environmental sciences in the final semester.

The level of legalisation your certificates need depends on your country of origin:
Apostille
If your country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille from the competent authority of the issuing country is sufficient.
No legalisation
A small number of countries have a bilateral agreement with Austria and need no further legalisation.
Full diplomatic legalisation
For all other countries: the full chain — pre-certification by the issuing country's authorities (e.g. Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs), then legalisation by the competent Austrian representation (embassy/consulate).
Translations are usually done after legalisation. Check the required order with the issuing authorities and the Austrian representation.
